When the language of opera meets rap, the border between aria and confession disappears.
The work
A drama heard
before it is seen.
Inspired by Maurice Maeterlinck’s play, The Blind creates a closed world of voices waiting for someone who may never return. Orchestra, electronics, spoken rhythm and song become a single dramatic organism.
The work premiered on 5 June 2025 in Katowice. It was conceived as music theatre rather than a stylistic experiment: every musical language serves character, tension and story.
